Introducing the Tarian BLOC

The Tarian BLOC, the first percussion product from Tarian Drums, has been meticulously developed since 2022. After years of refinement, it officially launched at the start of 2025.

Crafted from 30 plies of premium Scandinavian Birch, the BLOC is designed to follow the shape of a drum rim. For easy installation, it comes equipped with two custom-built L-brackets tailored to different lug configurations and drum sizes. Each L-bracket includes a rubber washer, protecting the rim from damage while enhancing resonance and frequency response.

The Tarian BLOC is compatible with drums of the following sizes and lug configurations: 12"/6-lug | 12"/8-lug | 13"/8-lug | 14"/8-lug | 14"/10-lug.

Each BLOC comes with all necessary hardware for mounting, ensuring a hassle-free setup.

The Tarian BLOC revolutionises the snare drum rim click or cross-stick sound by increasing volume and boosting lower tones. It delivers a beautifully consistent tone, eliminating the inconsistencies often found with standard cross-sticks. Additionally, it enhances volume while resolving challenges posed by snare mics clipped to the rim.
